Just finished reading all three of Julia Cameron's Artist Way books and have been sharing an on line blog with 19 women and we are now working with the Sound of Paper. I also have been dabbling in to REX RAY's book about collage works he's done. |

| ABOUT ME |
I'm a Collage and papermaking artist. I also teach and demo's on Collage and papermaking. I do outdoor fairs and I'm building up the courage to start seeking galleries. But I'm doing pretty good with the little local cafe and artist guilds and leagues. I enjoy my walks in the woods for meditation in motions. I have 4 teens still living at home 2 in college and 2 soon to be. The Homestead is a busy place and loving every minute of it.

What is your Teaching Philosophy?
My philosophy as an art instructor is to help student understand making art is a process and that through the process they will be exploring, experimenting, evolving and honing in on their own visual perspective of the world around them. I strongly feel art is about events happening in our every day lives and to capture that emotion, sound, color, taste, texture and perspective of your view is what becomes the artist's challenge, to seek and express. So I hope that I can inspire my students to do just that. |
