Thank you for your comment about the painting of my daughter. Before I started painting I was a photographer. For ten years I would not use photographs as references for paintings, but now I will as long as they are my own images (with some exceptions). Sometimes it takes a while to get the right image, but when I do it's magic! My daughter was 2 in the painting and she is still very pensive at 6...Take care, Cheryl

That's funny. My mom, who is just a liver fan-a-tic, always made liver in various ways but I could never share her "joy" of the food.

Thank you for the refeshing comment. I think you are doing just what you're supposed to be doing. Your work is very full of life. there's so much going on in them it's exciting. Drawing has always been my first love. Your pencils and inks are very nice.

Thanks for your comment. To answer your question, the item in the painting are not from my past, but my parents. The larger bell is from my Dad's one room school house, and he also had the old bubble gum machine. That is an old Whitman Sampler box that came from some things my Grandmother had. The book is a treasure I found, its an early edition of Darwins 'Origin of Species'. So, they are mostly all treasures from family. You have some wonderful works here! Donna

I really appreciate your comment, it made me smile real big! These jugs are definitely a result of experiences with family (close and extended), and OH YES, I know what you mean about teenagers!! My husband and I have 14 younguns between us.  I love your witty photographs.  Hold tight to your sanity, as my grandma used to say (not necessarily about teenagers though) "This too shall pass if we get out of the way"! Wow...you have added several new works since I last visited. Your
work is great. I love the black and white work. I haven't done any in a
while but love to see it done well by others like yourself.  May God
continue to bless the work of your hands. Psalm 90:17
