I'm a Christian artist who is trying to figure out why I'm here and what I'm supposed to do! Hahahaha! Help! Hahahahahahaha!

Thanks for your comment on my blog.  Glad to hear your daughter is going into nursing.  They said a few years ago the average age of nurses was in the 50's....so we nurses all agreed after we wondered who would take care of us....we would volunteer to take care of each other. LOL!

I love the photo of the dog...... dogs don't need to talk, do they?

I love your "about me" statement....   Me too!!! LOL

Three of my four daughters are artists....one is a graphic artist, one has a degree in art education, but hates teaching (although she's never taught art!), and the other also has a degree in special education and teaches.  My fourth daughter, not to leave her out, is a math-computer science whiz and has a fabulous job.

I am blessed!

I love your gallery - you have a big variety of work.

Happy painting!

It take's great courage to be christian these days with so much violence and inmorality, things that our beloved God really hates. One of the songs that applies: "Because we live in a world of fuels breaking us down..." But things will change and man has to be under God's holy spirit to keep living. My favorite chapter form the bible: John 17:3 -Very strong portfolio, keep the hard work!

It is not always easy to answer a poll with the options given: People do treat me different when they find out I am an artist and art is needed.  As an artist, it depends on the person I meet.  I am treated different depending on the size of the town I am in, the art appreciation of the individual, other artists, artists who are not as professional, want to be artists, their profession and their previous contact with art and other artists.  I do feel the need to perform for some and many don't take me serious because I work at home.  Some can't take me serious as a professional woman because I am married.    Art is needed. Think about it: what kind of society would we have without it.  No billboards, no advertising (well, that is the good part), no color coordination, no civility, no galleries, no work on the walls to contemplate, fewer rebels, less honesty, less independance, fewer people to say, "Hey, the emperor has no clothes on".   me
