Steve,  thanks for your kind words.  I do have many facets to my work and sometimes I wonder if I should narrow it down and create a stylized work that reflects who I am.  You know, like Georgia O'Keefe-everyone can tell it was her own.  However, I want to paint more realism with my watercolors and more abstract with my acrylics simply because in doing so, it forces me to teach myself so many more things.   So I am having a hard time trying to decide which direction I should go. (Because there are so many choices)  I enjoy both so much.  It gives me alot of freedom to explore new things and I like that about art.  Otherwise, I am afraid I will get bored doing the same thing and "paint inside a box".   I haven't developed an expressive title that says, "deb m" as yet, and I am okay with that.  I just turned professional 2 years ago and I still feel fragmented and I am trying to find my way.  I paint in the mornings and then work on marketing, etc., in the afternoons. I paint what stirs my heart and soul, and I go from there-not what people tell me I should do.   p.s.  Is it nice and warm down there is sunny Florida?  I am freezing up here-even my uggs are not doing their job...

You are so welcome.  It is always a special thrill when someone likes the books; the work involved is unbelieveable.  me

Re: Giving Back  I had an emerging artist here in the studio Saturday to show her around and give her a few tips.  You wouldn't believe what I learned from her.
