Jendria!  Thank you so much for your comment on Waterfall and the acknowledgment of being in AC for January...I was very honored and grateful.  I love your "Distressed Figure and Blue Window"  Amazing work, very free yet, skilled.  Keep up the good work!  Best, Sandy

Jendria - thanks for the recent comment (my first one!). I like your work too - especially the ones with figures/faces. Great mood to them. The "Distressed Figure and Blue Window" is my favorite. Love the color and expression from the loose strokes - excellent! My goal is to loosen up my technique to get that feeling in future paintings.

Hi Jendria,

Thanks for the comment! I lov purple - it is passionate, poweful, strong, yet also quiet, mediative, healing, spiritual. As you can tell it is my favorite color. My other favorites are the blue/orange complement. Can't get enough of it! Warm/cool, loud/soft, funny/solemn.  Hope you feel better. Stress is not best! Stress gives me headaches, canker sores, and anxiety.  I pretend I am Bob Marley when I get stressed - everything is going to be alright! -Cathy

I eat a 99-100% raw food diet (working on 100%), and I'm a vegan.  I also don't eat sugar, soda, coffee, alcohol, or pretty much anything that isn't a raw organic vegetable, fruit, nut/seed, or seaweed.  My diet totally rocks, but my stress level is what I really need to improve on.  Stress REALLY destroys a healthy body like nothing else can!

Anyway, thanks for the advice!  (A friend of mine recommended Airborne to me too!)  I've been taking  SystemWell, Sovereign Silver, & Sambu Guard, while drinking lots and lots of water and trying to get more rest.  I do feel like I am on the mend. (Today was my best day so far.)  Thanks for the well wishes!

Happiness to all,

I'm sorry you've been so sick. Have you tried Airborne to boost your immune system.  I swear by it when I'm not feeling up to par - which like you doesn't happen. If that doesn't work and you gotta get 'er done - Switch to Monster - low carb.

I've been doing well, thanks.

Happy Holidays Jendria

Hi Jen,

I see you've  left me a comment. Thanks! I've
actually been really sick for the past 7 days. (& I NEVER get sick,
so it hit me hard!) I haven't really done much in the way of art or
otherwise lately. Just trying to rest and get well again. I hope you
are doing well;(That goes for everybody out there!) And, thanks for checking in.

Happy Holidays!

Hi Deb,

I'm not sure which piece you're commenting on.  I'll gladly share the story behind it (if there is one); Just let me know which painting it is.  Thanks for the great compliments on it!  I can't wait to see which one it is.

All the best,

-Jendria

I really love this piece.  The composition, values, shapes, colors,  and the image itself work to create a eye-stopping piece.  I lingered on this one and just enjoyed it.  Do you have a story behind this?

The Mexican wolf is different in proportion to the timber wolf; he is unique to himself.  Is there any way of reducing the pixels through a program on your PC?  This way, you don't have to re shoot.  Thanks for the wonderful comments about my wolf.  Did you read my blog about Wolf?  me
