I had a professor who said,"There are only two kinds of music. Good music and bad music."

I like good music.

Jeremiah Moore was raised in the Central Valley of California. He received his BA in Painting/Printmaking from San Diego State University and will receive his MFA from the University of Utah this summer.
His paintings are narrative in design with subject matter drawn primarily from nature and personal experiences. Jeremiah is intrigued by the interaction that people have with nature. This relationship inspires him to explore thoughts about time and mortality.

Dude, that trout on your finger is either bizarre and surreal or mellow fishing experience....something about the scene in the larger art context is jarring.  I do like it, don't get me wrong.  Pretty cool.

Jeremiah,
Your work is intriguing, each one tells a different story. Quite illustrative.

Hi Jeremiah,

Thanks for contacting me. I loved your work and the way you create.  You have frozen the special moments that we experience.  Your composition is so strong and use of color.  I really feel your passion for nature and life.

Hi Jeremiah! First of all thenk you for checking out my new work and your nice comment. Each painting I do I learn something new, trying always to improove myself. Thank you also for the friendly invitation! I already checked out your gallery and believe me this is not a diplomatic comment: your gallery is just great! has it all!! the macro, the still life, the figurative, nature, people, you've painted almost everything and I think that is brave because sometimes you stay in safe zone you gotta get fearless and paint it all to really learn. I loved the trout painting, you paint moments not images! that's what I have to work more. Like your colors also. Enough! I am gonna save something for next time! See you soon!

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
Your work made me think of the last stanza of
Wordsworth's "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud."
Your paintings are like reflective thoughts to which a mind
can return whenever it needs to recapture a time and place.
Thanks for sharing with me. ~Kathleen

Hi Jeremiah,  Love your name, your artwork, and your blog.  Thanks for inviting me to be your friend.  I accept!  I appreciate it.  We hard-working artists need each other through the good and bad times.  Your gallery is fantastic. I like your thoughts on music, too,  quite simply put- Good/Bad.  I have to agree with you whole-heartedly on that one.    TTTL      Deb

I enjoyed your gallery, you have some very strong work. I particularly like See Through Shade, Can It Last and Brook Trout. There is a spirituality that comes through your work. I'd say you're on the right track. Thanks for being my friend.
