I am an artist from Owosso, Michigan. I make everything in my 100 year old, way too cool, used-to-be-a-Cheese-Factory studio.

Here you might find me twistin' iron with my coal-fired-forge or smashing up a mosaic something. I enjoy working with most any material. I tend to go cRaZY with one then move on to the next. I'm currently painting abstract and impressionistic pictures with acrylics and oils, both are
LOTS OF MESSY FUN!!

I also like to collect things along the way that catch my eye, both new and old, and turn them into some very cool artsy thing. With a never ending whirl of thoughts, who knows what'll be next?

Thanks for your kind comments about my work. Light is truly amazing, isn't it? I'm especially thankful at this time of year when the sun comes out after many days of grey weather. Color is such a wonderful gift from the Creator!

My sincerest apologies my dear for blasting "The Knife" in your ear at such a  late hour.  I will have to keep eyes in the back of my head now for the revenge that awaits me   LOL.  Anyway, got go pay the bills.

Keep brushing.

I liked your article in the AC. Nice work and nice artwork as well.

Your studio sounds wonderful. Old cheese factory, how awesome.
My husband and I built our last 3 houses, just finished this one. Next time it will be a renovation
or something we don't have to do anything to. The heavy physical work is just getting to be too much.---CRB

Hiya sister of the fire!

Funnny you should mention that about Feng shui.  My Tai Chi teacher knew some master of that.  He told me some stories about the way people view that in the Orient.  If you want I could pass on his email for you.  He is the real thing and will tell you straight up where to follow that vein.

Hugs to you=== rockstar that you are

Okay, I have the scoop on the Burridges workshop. If you want to look into Susan's webpage you can view the workshop info.

Google www.susanfryervoight.com   Click on workshops and you should be able to find out all the information.  I emailed her today asking for the registration.  There is a deadline by February,  so if are interested, check it out soon.  Would love to have you join me- it's a blast and a ton of fun-especially if you like to make messes.  Deb

Hey Rockstar!

I just saw that you were on my page so I thought I'd say howdy.  I haven't heard from you in a while.  How are the snows in Michigan?  I'm actually starting to get some work done and now have two commissions for horse portraits.  Portraits are not my forte, but hey!  If they want to pay me, I'll choke them out somehow.

What are you up to these days?  What kind of mid-winter magic are you making in that cheese factory of yours?

-M

OK. My adventures are up.  How about you?

I'm no party planner; someone threw me the ball and since I can't punt, dribble or hit, I'm running with it.  Want to help? Got any ideas?  I'm open.     me

Just to let you know I've started my blog - with a little piece about why I moved to Africa & started painting. Hope you enjoy it.

How very cool that building you are in must be.  It reminds me of the converted meat-packing plant I used to live in, in Leicester, UK     Anyway, just wanted to say "ello"

Very nice work   Keep it up
