Your art reminded me the times that I tried to work with poser and wanted to animate a horse, wow that was really hard. Wonderful work you have done, congratulation. Happy 2009

You have a cool website.  I love your sense of design.  You should do well with your products.  Great idea.  I read about you on your website and I can relate.

Remember, your art is the only constant in your life.  It will not leave or dessert you.  My art has been the only constant in my life and has seen me through all kinds of things and has always been there for me.  The worse things get the more I paint.  I go into the studio and get lost in my work.  It is almost like recreating my self.  If I paint something beautiful, then I am beautiful.  Nothing can take your art away from you.  It is my savior..

Thank you for your comment about my painting - Iris Garden.  It was painted from my backyard in the Spring when they all bloom.  This painting went very quickly.  I estimate that it took about 20 hours.  My abstract paintings take longer.  Painting from imagination takes a lot longer than painting from life.  When you paint from life, all the decisions have already been made for you.  Abstract painting makes you make all the decisions.

Keep painting and have a great holiday.

Terry

Hi,

thanks for your comment on my painting, which was done from a spot in Massachusetts.  It's interesting how our memories of a place we know can cause us to respond to a place we've never been - it's more the feeling than the place.  I was just browsing through your gallery and came across The Undiscovered Country.  It reminds me of the "other world" feeling of Arizona, where I am going in a couple of days to visit my daughter and paint.  Love this music!
