I am an artist living learning and laughing on the Northwest Coast of North America.I have recently found my "voice"using the encaustic process;painting with beeswax and damar resin as my medium on wood panels. More of my work Can be seen at www.gerberart.com

I like the background of this page! When I was in college I experimented

with wax some, but not to the extent you are. This is great! I look forward to seeing what else you do Christopher. Hope you sell lot's.

Very textural-- nice use of the encaustic medium. I do like that thick wax, but never mastered it.
Thanks for you kind comment. To answer your question, I paint in oils.

Hey Christopher!

I offer lime washes to my clients, but alas, I have not done any art with it yet!

Hi Chris, Thanks for your generous compliment on my bronze sculpture and greetings from a fellow former foundry worker! I am not sure if I will ever find myself back in the actual workaday of a bronze foundry but my current endeavors are related in many ways to that process, enlargements, fabrication, molding, casting in resin and other tasks which will be the foundation of my new business. Hey, thanks for the vote of confidence, Scott
