I paint using iridescent paint on black etch or cotton paper. This paper allows for the illusion of great depth and appears to be of the same color likeness of a beetle shell. My intrigue with nature has me creating all sorts of imaginary creatures. Most of them stem from real life, taken to another realm. My work is meant to fascinate, intrigue and be enjoyed.

Thanks Callie, for the complements on my work.  Yours is intriguing but I think it needs to be seen up close to be fully appreciated.  Very unique!  Hope to see more.

Thanks!

I have an old book, now reprinted by Dover, called Artform in Nature, I think.  Have you seen this gem?  It is full of etching and color prints of radially symmetrical sea life and other wonders of nature.

I think your work needs to be seen in person to appreciate the iridescent qualities, and detail you obviously imbue.
