My name is Burnell Yow! (The exclamation point is part of the name). My studio is called Raven's Wing. I am an intuitive artist working in the varied media of collage, painting, assemblage, sculpture, digital art and photography. My wife. Making art. Meditation. My Mac. Listening to sacred chant music. Spending time with our six cats. A fire in the fireplace. Sci-Fi.

Cigarettes. Cigars. Loud motorcycles. Negative, hostile attitudes.

HOBBIES

Making art for me is both profession and hobby. It's part of every waking moment.

02/26/2008 13:20:08 Love the range of your work. In the end I would put you into the surrealist box, since I like to do that until I am corrected. It may be due to your source of materials: dumpsters. It turns out the best known dumpster here in VT is at a chocolate factory, then Staples. I don't know what chocolate would do for your art, but you probably have your favorites in Philly too.. Blade Runner is still one of my favorites, as is SciFi, (love those creatures running amuck!) so I will add you to my friends list in case I watch a bad Sci Fi , I can find you, and alert you, and visa-versa.
