While making a living from my art is an aspiration, my main focus and goal is to continue to explore and improve on my ideas and creativity. Teaching others to "see" the shapes and colors of the world around us has always been and continues to be a particular joy of mine. I feel that painting and drawing are a continuous process, not a means to an end. I am always surprised and a little disappointed when I reach the completion of a painting. The enthusiasm for my work and the creativity it evokes are continuously emerging and evolving. Please visit my website at: http://www.artfelt.com

I haven't had the nerve to take on a painting of that size just yet.  The largest painting that I've done was 36" x 48" other than a few murals.

P.S. One of the best galleries I was ever involved with was in Gilbert AZ

Want to answer your poll but none of the answers offered say it all.  I have never sought out galleries.  I found out early that few are interested in traditional realism or have more artists than they can use.  What galleries I have been in came to me and my experiences have been positive.  Never was in a gallery that I did not sell my work.  Only once was management not a good experience.  Of course, you have to put time and effort into a committment with a gallery.  I made regular trips to the galleries to change out inventory, make friends with the owner and keep tabs on what was going on.  I always presented myself in a professional manner: dressed well, framed my work in a professional manner and complied with all necessary paperwork.  (I don't like strict contracts and my relationships always evolved into trust.)

To seek out galleries is lots of time, travel and expense not to mention the research and socializing.  Since my work is not popular in the gallery scene, I decided my time was better spent in other venues.     me

Your animals are just wonderful.  Your use of color is breathtaking (gasping for air)  How big are you working?

Your work is beautiful - I love the way you capture the eyes in the animals.
