I paint dramatic landscapes and occasional portraits in acrylic and oil. I sell my artwork through galleries in several U.S. states as well as from my studio in Maryland.

Yeah...I like Departing St Thomas....I see you have an affinity for clouds, like me.  I think that clouds can be painted any way you want. total abstract license....and be completely justified as a realist.

 

I am struck by your 'fish eye' views.  Do you paint from photos or do that distortion in your drawings?

Welcome to the community.  You've got some great work.  I especially like "forest floor" and "approaching storm".  You have a very painterly title, I dig that, because it's difficult to do!  Great job, keep up the goods!
