I have had my first published photograph this year in the spring edition of Nature Photographer.

Open mindedness, fair play, and creativity

Ridiculousness, selfishness, being called "pedestrian."

My dogs and their hobbies of walking, eating, fighting with each other, possible intruders (often invisible), and the neighbor dogs.

Thanks for the information on the caterpillar shot.  I did not post the shot to out do yours, as the one you did was great, but I am glad you liked the one I posted.  I have been tempted to by a Lensbaby but have not stepped off the ledge yet; it looks like the Lensbaby provides some interesting effects.

Thanks for the response on the lens usage for your photograph.  Take a look at the Caterpillar I posted today.  I used a 300mm with extension tubes.

There is an almost zen-like simplicity to your images.  Beautiful, tranquil, and stunning. Great use of depth of field.  I really like what you do.
