ABOUT ME

My photography depicts ordinary things that I see everyday. My challenge is to take the time to find the beauty in such objects as the gas pump, the rusting fender, or the dying iris. My equipment includes a Cannon digital EOS Rebel XT,60-mm macro lens, 75-300-mm zoom lens, and Lensbaby III as well as a Holga 120N film camera.

THINGS I LIKE

Open mindedness, fair play, minding my business, and creativity

THINGS I DISLIKE

Ridiculousness, selfishness, being called "pedestrian." The thing I dislike the most is making yourself feel superior by destroying another person.

HOBBIES

My dogs and their hobbies of walking, eating, fighting with each other and the neighbor dogs, detecting possible intruders (often invisible), running the fence, and barking at those people who have the nerve to walk by our house.

05/01/2008 14:41:30 Hello, Thanks for the compliment on my recently sold watercolor painting "The Dancers"! I Love, Love, Love your work! Vivid colors/beauty/boldness. I like "big" (closeups) flowers too! I just found a tiny patch of newly opened bluebell flowers in the woods last Friday. - It was so cool to be there with them and to photograph them in the sunlight. They were the only opened bluebells within a huge area of them. I can't wait to paint them! Stay Cool, -Jendria
