Awesome pieces of work! I love the use of colors in all your works. I especially liked "Healing Waters", "Freedom to Fly" and the "Calling". Excellent!

Hi Sandy, I heard about your mom and I want you to know that I am praying for you and thinking about you.  You know I just lost my mom  and the grieving is the pits.  I have all I can to to get through the days.  But, I am hoping it all turns out for you and your family.  Love, and lots of hugs to you.  Keep in touch-okay?     Deb

Hi Sandy,  Thanks for looking at my gallery and leaving me such nice comments.  It's good to hear from you and I hope all is well.  The painting you mentioned with the palm trees is one I am going to submit to the Marblehead Festival of the Arts.  I don't know if it will be accepted, but Robin is encouraging me to give it a try.  Even if they reject it, I know a couple of artists I admire who like it.  Thanks again, Carmela

Sandy - the new diptych was done on Friday when I had the group painting with me a the studio... I was going to add details but when Carmela saw it posted in the gallery she reconfirmed for me that I should just leave it alone. Sometimes I forget that less is more.

Hi Sandy, Thanks for the lovely comments, and finding "the angel" -- I never saw it myself, and that's what is so fantastic about artists' eyes! PLEASE do everything you can to allow yourself more art time...I retired early and am living on less but enjoying it more.  Get a financial planner (preferably, one who doesn't sell his/her own product) if you haven't already and see how quickly you can quit! Stayin touch. Jane

Hi Sandy,  Thanks for your comments on Sunrise at Sea.  The funny thing is that I painted it vertically (with the yellow on the right) with a different idea in mind, but I wasn't happy with it when I finished.  Then I turned it and said "oh, that's how it's supposed to go!".    So when are you going to come East and paint with us?
