I don't know what benefits there are to having a bunch of listed friends on this site other than NOT looking like you have the plague and no one wants to get near you:) I tend to think of it as your score - the higher the better. Besides I have only been on here for a few weeks and have learned valuable info from others that I can use in my own art. Seeking out friends also forces you to make contact with another person and that in turn can lead to more people hearing about your art... (which is great art) JK
I hope you will post your watercolor paintings just for the fun of it if/when you get into it. Its very difficult to find a balance between working the job that pays the bills and doing the art that gives great pleasure unless they are 1 and the same. Good luck with your unpainted portraits waiting to be painted.
Thank you for visiting my site. The use of color, subject matter, and perspective in your work creates much drama. How long does it take you to create an images? Are you working from photos or from actual scenes?
Yeah, I agree - you should paint way more. I really dig the feel of your works. I get on architectural trips in my art where it's all I want to paint and then I revert to something else like portraiture. You should check out my Credit Card Art that I just uploaded. I think you should do some too - it's a good use of junk mail!
I am color junkie. Always have been and love working it out through paint on a blank board!
I notice you have a few works of street corners. I am curious about them. Is the corner symbolic in your work? I like how you compose them on your canvas -- it is very interesting to my eye.
Thanks for the feedback..I need to get rid of all the corny "affordable, masterpiece" stuff on my site but dont know how to edit it yet (a friend made it all for me recently).
