Thanks for the compliment on my photograph!  I really like your work, as well.  Beautiful detail.

Thank you for the positive comment. The soft focus and perspective of your work is inviting.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment.  At first I read "beauty and hautiness"  .... I like "hauntingness" alot better!

Just love your paintings.  A couple of them remind me of a strange but memorable time in my life when I lived in an industrial neighborhood in Albuquerque.---Strawberry

"Apion Way," I love it!

Thanks for your kind remarks about Unraveled.  Yes I did embed a ticket from the Royal Mummy Exhibit into the piece! -Michele

Hi!

Thanks for traveling to my website! My good friend created it -- Jeff Noble, a true rock star in the web design world. You can find him at conquestmedia.com

I don't use a retarder. I don't normally work fast. I think Chinese New Year (my latest post) took me around 8 hours?! I wet every board before I begin and then layer thin washes of paint. Due to excessive use of water in the painting process -- my boards curl up...but they flatten nicely when pressed and framed.

I like that you re-worked that painting we talked about. The "after" strokes build the paint up nicely -- it almost has a pastel feel to it. I see it hanging in a gallery somewhere in Southern Arizona....

(ps) I think you are on to something with your corner paintings
