Hi--love your home page and your passion...I too was a HS teacher...do it as long as you can, my friend, and remember: YOU ARE PAYING IT FORWARD. Your art will be fine. I worked for 30 years and just "retired" to do art at age 59 ...it's worth it...just keep doing what you're doing...love your attitude...remember: PROCRASTINATING IS SIMPLY a kind of creative foreplay even though it seems like stalling! PS which Rothko bio are you reading? --Jane
I like the mood evoking quality of your work. Looks like you are on the right path. Your work made me think about Hopper and now I see he's one of your favorites, me too.
Google wagmag, wagmag is a williamsburg publication that list all the galleries in the neighborhood. Start going to the openings they are usually on Friday it is a fun scene.
Hi, thanks for the comment. Your work is very nice. The one with the fishermen reminds me of the light down here in Florida when a storm has just passed. The sky is a dark steel grey but the trees are bright chartreuse where the sun is just starting to hit them. I remember the winters in Jersey, I grew up there but I've been down here so long now I've turned into a cold weather wimp. Congrats on your show.
Hi tautog....your coments mean a lot to me ...thanks....also you make me laugh...I am the queen of procrastanation...I've worked into a fine art form. Congratulation on on your first group show.....and well deserved...your work is terrific...i was just looking at your gallery....love the fishermen ( the 3 wise men or the 3 stooges or Winkin, Blinkin & Nod? :-0) feather
