Just wanted you to know I didn't have much time in my studio last week- but I've been working on an ink adaptation of your "moose" log.  Hopefully will finish it this week.  I tried the fungus/leaf one- but I really need to get out and get some good bark photos or samples- because that is so close up I want to be accurate. When I stare at the fungus I see a flamenco dancer, but it hasn't quite formed in my head yet.  I always enjoy your new postings!  There's another photographer on here (check out SCB_PHOTO )who was also attracted to the catepillar in your "Pole Dancer".

Thanks for the kind words, Chris.  You have some really lovely images.  I too, enjoy macro.  There's something about that tiny world that we think we know about and yet, know nothing.  I think that's why I've always loved Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears A Who.  Because, after all, a person is a person, no matter how small.  When I heard that the dung beetle nurtured her babies by putting the mould from the dung around them, like a soft blanket, I felt vindicated in my feelings. ;-)

Your work is very interesting.  I love the complexity of "simple" things.
