Thanks for your kind words about my skies. I'll be posting more soon, because I have been working on a collection for weeks now. I have beautiful sunrises from my deck, and that's been my inspiration.

Hi, thanks for the nice welcome. My work is mostly acrylics. When I do oils, it is water-based. I have been experimenting with creating the "look" of oil with the acrylic. I have also led several plein air workshops with acrylics, which can be daunting considering the quick drying time. But it's fun to challenge myself to see the limits of the medium. Happy painting!   I just checked up your web site, and I am so impressed of your site. Only one little suggestion,  I think it will work better if each page has one button to link back to the home page, which will encourage the viewer to check on more of your work. I love every pages in that site, and I think you are really a great illustrator. Hopefully someday I can be another one. I just start to teach myself to use computer as another tool to improve my work. Now, if you do not much about computer, you would be so out of date. Actually I have finished a couple of paintings,but my computer is acting like it has a mind of it's own and won't let me send pictures correctly sooooooo I have to call a computer geek to fix it then I will send them in.

Hot is the word ! We will be at about 110 today ( but it's DRY heat, LOL)  Happy  4th.

 THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND COMMENTS ON MY WORK, IT SEEMS THAT KING IS MY MOST POPULAR PAINTING AS OF YET. I REALLY LIKE YOUR WORK ESPECIALLY THE COWBOYS AND INDIANS. I TO USED TO PAINT A LOT OF OLD BARNS AND SUCH BUT SINCE I HAVE RETIRED AND AM INTO ART FULL TIME I JUST PAINT ANIMALS AND WESTERN SCENES.
