Welcome back to the art world.  You have some really nice art, keep up the good work.  I like your page background too, it's cool.

Coming out from the land of cows and rednecks, I must confess that abstracts aren't usually something I can say "WOW" to  very often...but I like the way you developed your title of painting abstracts...the lighting, the forms, all the different ways you express those elements in each painting...I rate your work a top 10 for abstract work.  No, I'm not an expert, but just take it as a compliment!

thank you for your comments on my work. "chaos of creation" is a digital collage of photographic elements and digital illustration. your work is very beautiful too, and I am particularly attracted to "beneath the surface".

cheers,

Compelling work....it has a very "fantasy'like"  feel to it with surreal components.  I really enjoy the abstract qualities, like those in Star Being 2, and the narrative aspects, like The Falling Sky.

Hi,  I have so enjoyed looking at the work in your gallery...gorgeous.. is it water color, acrylic....collage?

Just beautiful, and natural.....

I love the Planet Earth series too...your work definitely expresses your love for the natural world.

the painting of mine you commented on is mixed media with acrylic.  I make my own stencils (the flowers in this painting.)  and use a heavy paint mixture to fill the stencils leaving the raised form.there are some close ups of this painting in my gallery that give you an idea of the texture and detail....

Sweet! I am enthralled at your compositions. Just like the complex root systems that you've illustrated, I find that I have to stare at each piece for several minutes analyzing every detail. Are you more a printmaker or are these all paintings/mixed media on paper? My wife's from Paducah, KY - a great artists community! JK
