I'm glad "Uncle Red" made you smile.  I made it when I realized my whole face was falling.  The copper wire came in because my "younger" hair was bright red.  He was bought by a sculptor in West Virginia; I think he's happy.

About the bark in "Buffalo Bottle"--that tree is in my back yard.  And I love the bark--don't know what type of tree it is but it's beautiful.  I have admired your trees.

S. Elliot ;

Yes, it is a photograph that I shot this fall from a ridge east of this 14,000 ft peak callled Antero. The ridge is Aspen Ridge and is a fall treasure when it comes to images. Look for some more I'll be posting soon.

 I like your trees.   I too have a thing for trees. Just this fall did a photo shoot of some 1,000yr old Limber Pines on a ridge at 9500ft. Surreal!

Go for the color! Explore it and see where it takes you. Keep the paintings coming, they're looking great! PS. being a horse guy, I love your background image of "Me, Myself and Eye". Great detail.

Hi there, thanks for you comment on my works I posted.  It would seem the #3 is the most popular one of the three.  I just love your work and your trees are awsome.

Thank you for your excellent comments on my 'classic' works; LOL! I thought you'd like the tree in 'distant falls'. Trees are so wonderful to paint in all seasons are they not? I'm getting back to my idyllic landscapes with clouds, ponds and lots of majestic trees.

I like your new tree work too; are they of individuals near you?

Cheers,  David
