Thanks for your comments.  I actually used all graphite, and I believe the red is in acrylic.  It was a very very black pencil.  I found that prisma was one of the blackest blacks.

I am not sure whether the butterfly is a male or female.  It came from a photograph, and honestly, my colors were a little more hyper than that of the photo.
