Thank you for visiting my page. I like your work as well, specially the ones in brown tones. I read your profile and you sound like a very interesting person. I respect man who place their wife in high regards. You and I have a lot in common.; "Birth of Hope" resembles a mary and child, but really reflects on the hope of poor individuals living in third countries have...they can't really do much with their life other than fight for survival on a daily basis, not much hope for a future.

 Hello There,

First of all, I like that you changed your background to something a bit more subtle.  Now I won't get a seizure while typing a message to you.  LOL!

Thanks for the nice compliment on "Banished". I don't see any sadness in that painting at all.  It's full of color, the moon is setting and the sun is rising and the subject is enjoying a nice stroll out into the center of the ocean.  Here's what is throwing people off, the title, "Banished".  It's just a title.  If I would have called it something like, "On My Merry Way".  You woulod have seen the painting in a different light.  Now, you can't judge a painting by it's title. LOL!

  Take Care, Karen

All I had to do was play "The Story in Your Eyes" by the Moody Blues and I was back in 1970!
