Gary, Thank you very much for your comments on my page. I'm pretty new so they mean A TON! Also, as a native woman, your book is SO HEALING for me! To see the beautiful faces of all these "Aniyvnwiya" (First People) gathered up, telling their story is so fulfilling to see!! Whether they be in T-shirt or regalia for the pictures – the fire of their soul comes FLOODING in (Look at me: I'm freaking out)- your book was so moving and touched me so much! (There I go again)! Also your work on this site is so beautiful It’s almost haunting. I can't wait to see more and to continue to learn about you and your work. Thank you again for the gift, Gary. I look forward to speaking with you again, soon. Bye!!

yes, long time. hope all is well. Dailies and building my gallery portfolio have kept me from spending time on my computer save some short visits. Paris?

Your photography is wonderful, and speaks volumes for the emotions you capture in the reality of those moments. You are very gifted!

Thanks for your nice comment on the Wolfhound, Gary...

Photographic process is quite intimidating and fascinating to me....beautiful work! I might like to pick your brain about the subject sometime...

(MY chiropractor saved me from much misery, by the way......I am a believer!!)

the old woman in that snap is one of the original "babydolls" they were prostitutes years ago. a father would take his son to a baby doll for his first experience. a friend thought to get the baby dolls together after a bazillion years and this day there they all were. a young man walked up with his five or six year old son by the hand and he said look boy, thats a baby doll! they were sort of mythical for a long time...

thanks for your imput. when you have lemons you make lemonade... the film for one reason or another was a total disappointment. also unusable as prints...now i have the summer use of a scanner and have scanned the shots and cleaned them up as well as i can...thing is ...i actually like the dreamy ageless sort of look to the faded edges...if i had any skill as a painter i would want several of them painted in the sepia on a large canvas.. and who knows one day that may happen and meanwhile ive saved them . they wont take printing up ...but i do love the images. also... after hurricane katrina i left new orleans and often miss home these pictures being faded and blurred ... they are like a memory of the last day i spent with the indians...
