HI Karen,

I love your visual journey. Your work is really lovely, I feel like I have been to these places from your depictions. You asked about the effect I am using in my work. One friend called it "paper mosaic." I use torn paper. Really no more complex than that. I have always loved beautiful papers and finally decided to do something with them beside admire them.

Lightning ate my computer a few weeks ago, I only lost the last few months of photos, but that included the latest artwork. I will do some photographing and post some more soon. I will continue to visit your site and keep up with what you are doing, it is great!

I love your sense of color and your free brush work. Your gallery was a joy to explore.

Karen-    I really like your representational work!  The Humbolt Park boathouse turned out nice. I lived about a mile from there as a kid. I really like painting plein air and I can tell you do as well.  your work has such vitality!   -W

Hi Karen,

Thanks for your comments and questions.

Looks like you've figured out doing the links in your profile and about me section.  Great!  If you want your links to open in a new window, just add target="_blank" after you href section.

I'm off to explore your blog in more depth.
