Hi Stephen, thanks for your concern. The struggle is not so much a struggle anymore. I found something else to use instead of plaster for my olympic series that won't crack. I'm using tile grout, lol. It works pretty good. I'm starting to redo the previous athletes along with some new ones. I think these will turn out much better. I'm also working on some other new stuff too thats exciting. I think a lot of people will like it.

Congratulations on your exhibit in Fredericksburg; I hope it's going well for you.  Storm's A Comin' is a beautiful piece.  I can feel the change in the air and hear the thunder in the distance.

Thanks for the detailed answer to my poll.  I'm thinking that last choice will get the most votes.

Hey Steven:

Thanks for commenting on my response. It's always a trick to advise people since we all need nudges in different directions.  I've been writing a blog lately and find myself remembering turn ons and turn offs - both in terms of teachers and in terms of just the kinds of titles and approaches I've tried. It's always good to be on a roll - but less obvious how to get there or stay there.  Good to have conversations at this site. Thanks.
