Good Morning!  Thanks for the compliment-  My portraits of the girls are watercolor.  My acrylics are more abstract and bold simply because I paint with my fingers instead of a brush.  The girls are my friends' daughters.  Both of them.   One of the girls is a miracle girl- both are very special to me.

Maribel- Thanks for your comment on Kalediscope Cornflower-  Yes , I still have it, although, I have been inclined to put in to a set of greeting cards for spring.  I painted it with my fingers-just like a kid.  I am loving painting like that.  I love the feel of buttery acrylics!  Speaking of kids, I see your messages.  I taught home-schooled kids art for a few years and had a blast.  It was so rewarding.

I am dreaming of Cancun-  I am freezing here-  Blahhhh!  Not complaining- just holed up in my studio and talking online like I have all the time in the world.    Better go and actually work on my portfolio-  Deb

Interesting comment about children's book....I taught at Waldorf elementary schools for 14 years and drew daily for the children, but I did not think it showed through in my artwork....Perhaps my idea to write a children's book is not too far fetched.  thanks! greg

I know exactly what you are saying about children. I taught summer classes at a local art center for 3 years. They know no barriers. I was always amazed to see how much I learned from my students.     me

Thanks for your nice comments. I realy enjoyed your portraits. i don't have the courage to do watercolor. It looks like you have mastered your craft very well. Keep up the good work and hope you receive many commissions.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments about my work.  We all try so hard to put in front of the world what we see in our minds eye.     me
