Hi-  Thanks for the comment on my watercolor...It's about 11x14 inches...the original was sold very cheaply (I should have held on to it..I like it too). Luckily i was able to make prints of it..which this is.

Thanks,

Frank

Love your plant close-ups...remind me of georgia okeefe's flower close-ups.

Thanks for you encouraging comments on my site! No, I have never heard of the ceiba tree, but now I will look it up.   My daughter named the piece "Concerned Mother" for me.

Hola amiga!

Saludos, liza

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment on my work.  I probably enjoy my sketches more over time than my paintings.  I left some responses to some of your comments on each piece (I'm too visual to be able to respond to each one without looking at them).

I was planning on joining the critique group.  I have been painting too much and have been having a hard time with getting a good picture of my new painting that I'd like feed back on.

Thanks again Maribel,

Jon

I use pen for the drawing, marker for the backgrounds, and water color for the color, anything that dries fast, I like to work quickly. I used to paint with acrylics but seem to be taking a break from them for a bit.
