How's your week going? I'm not getting much done, but oh well. My niece and nephew are here, so Auntie Sandy is taking them to the beach every day. It figures when I can't surf there are waves, but there's always the weekend after they've gone back to Atlanta. Thanks for checking out the website, and your question is a good one!  There will be 6 exhibits, 3 per semester. Each of the exhibits lists the artists that are showing at the museum and each exhibit has a theme. The artists showing at the museum may or may not be part of the VanGo exhibit - depends on them. For the ones that aren't, I will put out a call for art and artifacts to fit the theme. For instance, SAGA printmakers are not going to do the VanGo exhibit, so I said okay and came up wiith the theme Portraiture: Time, Place and the Face. Now I will send out a call to portrait people like yourself, and will put local artist's work in the exhibit, linking them in to world art, history and culture. I hope it's not as confusing as it was. You should have seen me trying to write the standards - I nearly had a stroke and did get a headache trying to fit it all together. Yikes! Then, after I get  all this going over here, the big plan is to take it all to Scotland and run VanGo in the Highlands. Yaaaa! I'd also like to have VanGo in Costa Rica, too.
