This little piece is an interpretation of an older piece i saw in a
museum and copied, liberally, on paper with oil pastel.  The paper is
special hand made cotton from Langdell here in Vermont, perhaps you use them?

Elizabeth, are you using a high fired clay?  Your figures are

I really enjoy the size of the big nest paintings.  I like taking something that is normally so small, and rarely seen, and blowing it up so large.  I think these are my favorite of all your works.

Hi Liza, you leaving me a comment on one of my paintings has triggered my interest and I checked out your website. Besides me falling in love with your clay sculptures I was intrigued by the kids art classes you have been doing. Love the projects and the size of them. I am working with kids, too, and I have been thinking to develop some classes on the side. What an inspiration your site has been. Keep up the good work. Birgit
