Hi,

Thanks for the recent compliments on my oil painting "Hibiscus One".  That's the first large flower I painted and it has always been one of my favorites.

All the best,

Thanks for the compliments on my work. Your paintings of nests, eggs and feathers have a meditative quality to them... very contemplative and serene. I like them a lot.

Thanks for visiting my site and the very generous compliments.  Your work is very beautifu/, masterfully done and original.  You remind me of some of my favorite magic realists.  Interesting that your sculpture is so different but I find it to be equally intriguing.

Yes, Paducah. KY is a good place. Paducah's LowerTown Arts District is an intentional community, launched by the Planning Department of the City. It sounds like your town of Brandon, Vermont's art community is happening in a more organic way, which is good too.

I see that you are an Isabelle Allende fan as well. Enjoyed your site very much.

Thank you for your compliments. It probably took me as long to be satisfied with the eye as it did the rest of the horse's head.  Thanks also for the friend invite- I love your work!

Hi Liza,

Your work is Fantastic! Thank you for your kind comments on my warbler piece. The Common Yellowthroat is also one of my favorite birds. The bird has a nice personality and song. I influenced the organizers of the Birding Club of Delaware County, PA to use the bird as our signature bird for the club (www.bcdelco.org). It was an easy sell.

Your work is beautiful,

Jim

Hi Liza,

The Alchemy work that you were commenting on is actually a 24" X 24". Yes, even when the thumbnails get enlarged you still don't know the size of anything and I also think you lose richness and depth. On the other hand,  some things look better as a thumbnail. (I joke) Your work covers a huge span of topics. I was very intriged by the pieces of sculpture that I saw. Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate it. Thanks for sharing your work with me.   Roberta Miles
