Thanks for the compliments! Yes, silk painting is a challenging process but so much fun! Your glass art is kind of similar to silk painting in that you outline a shape and then fill it with color. I love the lines in 'Wildflowers'.

Thanks for visiting and for your kind words.  Yes, it is fantastic to earn a living doing what I love most...our world would be a much happier place if everyone could do that.  I wish that for you as well.

 

Your glasswork looks terrific.  My wife and I just returned from 2 weeks in Italy.  While in Venice we watched glassblowers from the island of Murano, where they make beautiful art glass.  We bought a couple of exquisite pieces.  I also have a friend who makes fused glass jewelry, who sells a lot of her pieces through hotel gift shops, and a couple galleries.  If you have the desire, and a little luck, you can make it work.  Never let it cease to be fun for you.

Thanks for your comment. I just checked out your gallery, and I love your glass works very much. Recently, I have started to enbrace the technology, and more I read about it, more I like it. In the coming future, I might apply this new tool in my own art.  ellenheise
