Glad you liked my egrets Kathleen! Both of those paintings are sold. :-)The booths at the gift show are tiny so I'm only taking small paintings, like the ones on my blog, plus prints and notecards - easy gifty things.

I spent several hours in a mosquito infested swamp observing and photographing the birds - there were thousands there that morning, many species, making such a ruckus! The best dawn I've ever had. I hope to eventually do some more paintings from those photos. - Deborah

to Kathleen from Kathleen, We have an awesome name! I love your jewelry. I keep trying to figure my way around artscuttlebutt but so far I barely figure out how to read comments and on occassion find the place to leave one.  Is there a place I can learn more about art I see in the gallery?
