Hi Karen, Thanks for the comments on "Silence Gives Consent". I was trying to symbolize millions of people thru the use of the big city lights. The skull mask was a perfect ominous fit for the composition. It's amazing to me how many people just stay quiet and go on about their daily routines while HUGE decisions are being made for us which affect us, often in negative ways. I hope the composition tells that story...

I really enjoy your new works, especially "Reason to Celebrate". The contrast of the body language with the intensity of color gives it a very lonely, emotional feel. Great job!!!!    -Don

Karen, thanks for the comment on my Love's Embrace painting. It Drytex on wood. I carved out the Drytex to leave the shape of the man and woman, then painted the background with acrylic plum and the Drytex white.
