Thanks for the comment Karen. You are right. It is simple and small but has a BIG story!

Karen:  The painting I commented on "Self Portrait" is the one you posted on Sept. 5th. I immediatley recognized it as one of your creations because of the red and black and that illumination technique of yours.  It is similar to another favorite of mine your "Amaterasu".

Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I recognized something that you created without any knowledege of its origin.  I saw the thumbnail of "Self-Portariat" and I said "I'll bet Karen painted that" and I was right.

Thanks so much for your comments on Florentine Window.  So sorry to be so remiss in a prompt response!  Thanks for looking through my gallery.

Hi Karen! Thanks for the nice comment about "A Stitch In Time",

I believe you do have something to say in every part of your work, even the titles! I really feel I can relate to "Can't See Eye to Eye".

Hi Karen, gee, thanks for the good words.  I really liked your paintings.  You have a very strong title and a skillful use of black, which makes it all work.  Keep up the good work! - Eleanor H

Hi Karen, I enjoyed your analogy of a rose and a thorn on my two most recent pieces. I needed the one to balance where I'd been with the other.   -Don

Hi Karen, Thanks so much for your expressive remarks on "A Rose...". I'm glad she's your favorite. She was a lot of fun to paint. For me she was a necessary balancing force to my recent painting "Silence Gives Consent". And for that I love her...   -Don
