I didn't know if that was you full first name so I am hoping I got this right. WOW!  Your painting are pretty busy and I see lots of thing happening within the obvious focal immediate point.... Are there hidden messages in the work?  Keep up the good work.

Wow, Karen! Your comments about "The Inevitable Adventure" have made my week!!! Thank you... I think a big part of the shift you've seen in my work is largely because I have only used a palette knife to paint the last several pieces - absolutely no brushwork at all. This has loosened me up more than anything else I have ever done as an artist. It's like young love...fresh and fun and exciting with something new at every turn. Thanks again,   -Don

Hi Karen, Serene and Disturbing are the two places I seem to keep vascilating between within my work lately. Good/Evil, Happy/Sad, Calm/Freaked Out. Could it have anything to do with the world around us?

I like "Feeling Blue"...especially the warm colors of her face making her look so alive despite the cold blue nature of everything else around her.   -Don
