Thanks for the comment. I am becoming tree obsessed. I always noticed them, but now I am really LOOKING.  One coming this week that was inspired by your looking up into the tree photo.

Hi Kara,

The woman with the umbrella is my dear friend Caole. She was my model for a photoshoot. I was preparing for a solo exhibit at her gallery, Planet Earth and the Four Directions here in Grand Junction. In the back of her shop, she has a vintage clothing store. Everything was perfect that day and  it just so happened to be her birthday too! We  had loads of fun. The swirly background is a painting that she had just finished. (Which I absolutely love!)

Life on a boat at sea instilled alot of character, that's for sure! Some of the best days of my life.

Definitely left a little piece of my heart in SF!  =)

A Woman's Perspective Out at Sea  Hmmm. I really like that! Might have to use that as a title. Would you mind???

I just went to your website! Love love love your work! Added you as a favorite and have me thinking about all kinds of things I want to blog about now. I don't collect much, but one thing I do are artists websites. I have quite a few favorites. Yet another blog topic.

You know, I don't, but now that you mentioned it, I should! I have hundreds of stories I could share. I'll have to remember that when I feel like writing with nothing to say.

The Bay area is so beautiful! My husband and I spent our honeymoon in San Francisco. Absolutely loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. =)

Hi Kara,

Thank you so much for taking the time to look and comment on my work. It makes my day to have accomplished artists give feedback. =)

I love the texture and palette of your work. Very earthy.

And I did have the opportunity to see the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises while out at sea. My favorite year was the summer of 1995. I went to work and caught the sunset and then midshift worked outside while the sun was coming up.
