Hi, again....thanks for looking. I will get back to you today on the other articles. This old cabin/house is long gone now, but I used to call it the "batshack" There were hundreds of bats living in the attic. I have drawn this place several times over the years, and the water color "fantasy find" is from the inside looking out...very crumbly, and peeling...Craig

Hey Kara,

Thank you very much for your thoughtfull message regarding my paintings. It was inspiring and uplifting to read. Thanks for taking time to view my works, it means a lot. I do not have a timeframe for a particular painting and I usually work on several paintings at the same time. I do not skecth or think about the work before I approach the canvas. I let it unfold in front of me, or I just simply let it happen, effortlessly. I am becoming an instrument in the making of the work and enjoy the process. I complete about four or five paintings a week, but I explore other mediums in the meantime. I am passionate about art and life and I consider art as a way of life.

Truly,

Csaba

Kara, sorry for the late reply, I've been off the web for a few days.  No, I have not seen the movie you referred to, but I should.  I do most of my kayaking on local rivers and did quite a bit while I lived on the Chesapeake Bay.  I like open water better than the white stuff.  I have done some white water kayaking, but not much.  The river that was the most fun was the Arkansas River near Salida Colorado, where the water is cold and clean, and plenty of white water.  They have a web cam showing the white water park, pretty good viewing.

Regards,

Steve B

Actually, I just started with the trees in February. I LOVE working on them.  I work 8-5pm in a vet clinic- so I can only draw after everything else is done for the day.  I'm trying to finish one a week. I'm always working on 2 at once- and I have at LEAST 10 tree ideas on a list on my drafting table.  Do you make a living with your art?  That's where I'd like to be, me and a million other starving artists.

Thanks for the encouragement.....Sue

There wasn't anyone looking out that window in Old Selma watercolor, but now that you mentioned it I am very tempted to go back and enhance that spooky mystery person in the shadows. -Jared

Thanks for the comments on Adam and Eve.  The figures are graphite enhanced lighter fluid transfers of Albrecht Durer's Adam and Eve.  The landscapes behind the figures are the people's characters, personalities.  Yes, there is a lot of symbolism, and symbols.  I like to use different symbol types, architectural images, and themes from nature, like the sun and rays of light.  It's a favorite piece, only available in Giclee, because I don't plan to sell it!
