Your mural and panels are really great! Very well done. I paint murals ( and screens/panels as well. Your painting of architectural elements appear to have all been executed very well. I love painting murals myself, and I have also tried to get a mural project going here locally.I also like your profile icon.

Ya know what I enjoy seeing, almost as much as everyone's art? It's their Profile pages and what they have designed. They are all so different and interesting to see. But some are hard to read or their backgrounds make their artwork less pronounced. Hey! Everyone....Isn't that really why we are here?...to let our artwork have a good foot forward?...so to speak. Boy...it sure can suck your time, though...trying to get the colors the way you want them

Hi Judy, Thanks for the kind words. My paintings range from 30 x 40 to 48 x 60. Cool Studio from what I can see. Nice paintings.

Thanks for the friend invite, Judy. I loved your gallery of works - the mural with the separate framed photographs (armed forces?) was my fav. I apprenticed for a muralist and faux-finisher for a few years. I love the illusionistic quality that can be achieved! I wanted to ask you if you were familiar with the work of Dale Kennington? You'll love her screens. JK

Hi Judy, Thanks for the compliment about my article!  Sorry that your community didn't embrace a mural program.  I know how you feel - I often butt my head against walls when trying to coordinate community events and projects.  Economic revival through public art has becaome such a huge success for so many communities, I bet they're sorry they missed the boat, now!

ta ta,

Annie

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I do like detail- and so I rarely work on pieces larger than 11 x 14- but I do love the expanse of your work. Very nice.
