How ya doing? I looked through your gallery and really like your work. About the Union Street Gallery, I've shown there ,but it was in a competition. I talked to them and was told that they are a rental gallery (500.00) and have no openings til the middle of next year.  They refered me to a place called Tall Grass Arts in Park Forest IL. The director is out of the country ,but will get hold of me when she gets back(They sounded like they would host it though) I still have you in mind , when I get the approval, I'm contacting Diamond 1 (Art Calendar) and maybe he can get a call for artists. Thats all I know for now.   Great work!!!!!  Keep it up

Hello Joyce, Thank you for the invitation. I would be interested in the information about your art in the park.  My family and I are new to the art festival type of scene.  We are doing an art in the park up in Greenville, Ohio over Memorial day weekend and a festival in Metamora, Indiana in October so yours would fit in very nicely.  Ottawa looks to be about 5 to 6 hours from us.  We usually sell as a family (face jugs, miniature bears, oil paintings) but if you only want the face jugs, that is fine too. yes, Montserrat is having an encaustic conference june 6-8 although I am not sure I will attend but the more I see encaustics the more I am intrigued and curious about the process.

Hi, it's not a painting, it's a digital illustration I made in 2006 originally entitled New Years Burst, I had a few others titles. If your interested email me using my contact form on  http://junior.mosaicglobe.com I only do 11x14 size prints to save $ so ask me the price and if you just want the print or do you want it framed, thanks for enjoying my art, I will add another art piece in a few mins.

I guess there's a lot I don't know about wax, because I didn't know it came in metallic. Is this how you got the affect of "Glacier"? I've seen glaciers and the color is right on.

your new works - I like the 'coolness' of the blue one best. I have never seen encaustics done other than abstractly so I am enjoying the way you do yours.
