Hi,  wanted to say thanks for your nice comments on my Birdie painting,  after looking at your gallery I can see a connection and similar feel in the work.    The painting isn't an encaustic just texture and the bird and tree are a stencil pattern that I made and put down on the canvas, then I spread textured paint over it then pulled up the stencil and got the inset pattern.  inverted stencil I guess...Then just layers of color and washes.

 I love all the little patterns that make up the whole of your work, your colors are fabulous and subjects vey intriguing.

 What do you mean by environmental artist?     Over the years I have been learning more about using materials that are least harmful to the envirnoment.

Thank you so much for your feedback and support. It is wonderful to know you. Your work is strong and amazing as well. I found lots of spirituality. Lots of symbols. Very inspiring. Some reminded me of Frieda Kaulo’s work.

Such spiritual work you do; a very introspective person.  I enjoyed your latest blog.  How wonderful of you to give such deep meaning to my moniker "paintswithstick".  Actually, it is a nic name my husband gave me - he thinks he is funny.  I like your interpretation better.   me
