Hi, Thank you as well for your comments and yes the mayans were special people. I have a baby 5 o 6 meters tall ceiba in my garden and since I have it I worship her every day, it has such a grat personality its like she has spark of its own! appreciate your friendly comments. Mostly I used to paint with oil on
canvas and cardboard. But from time to time I also work with acrylic.

I am not sure how the technical side of all this works, but I would like to thank you for your interest. Yes, I am working in acrylics, for this "Gully Gumpie" series at least. I was inspired by elementary students to move from portraiture to something fun. And fun it is.

Thank you for saying hello. My favorite subject lately is also trees. I like what you have been doing. The West Coast does not often get the dramatic line of trees as I imagine you must in Ohio. Are you working in oil? Linda

Thanks for your nice comments. I had a high school teacher that made ALL the difference for me... opened my eyes to creative and painterly brushstrokes. Still striving for that!
