I don't usually like to be part of a trend, but can't seem to escape the collective conscious.  Can I view this show online?

Greg, your long-ish post to Robin was enlightening!  I think you'd be a great teacher. IT sounds like many new ideas are in the oven for you...can't wait to hear what comes out baked (as opposed to half-baked). I think that's enough for THAT metaphor.  PS Is there a way to post to several people at once? --Jane

wow, you do have oodles of women here!

I am getting ready to go to an art auction where I will start and finish a painting that will then be auctioned off later but get this, I am the only wet paint artist doing this and when I found out I didnt want to do it, usually there are 3 of us, but they begged, and I didnt say no. I will photograph my painting and post it later but I sure hope it doesnt suck. You never know whatcha gonna get!

You must be busy getting settled back at home, I hope you post your pieces from this week. I found out I sold a small painting in a gallery show that just ended, and sold a print off the internet this week. If I land a teaching job I think I would give a party and invite all of scuttlebutt!

Hey Greg, Friends and Fans (c'est moi) want to know how it's going at the VT Studio Center.  What a great thing, to get away and immerse yourself in your art for a week. Those times always energize me.  SOmetimes the effect on my painting is delayed...it takes time for the inner artist to absorb the new insights. Do tell us all about it! --Jane

I hope everything works out for you, teaching does seem to provide some sort of security. Good luck and definitely keep me posted.

I just emailed the dean of student affairs where I have been teaching continuing ed classes for 3 yrs asking to meet and interview for an undergraduate part time faculty position, I sure have balls!!!!! I need to find a part time, day time job and this is my first choice, second choice is private elementary schools but I do not have a masters,I suppose I could get that, I am not currently board certified but I can get that, I can list all the things I dont have, but when I list all the things and experiences I DO have I sure sound like someone I would want to hire! I am tired of being in a rut and I am healthy (after being sick for 2 weeks) so today I leave the black hole behind and dont care where I end up  but it wont be in a black hole, so there!

I just googled Craftproducers because I have never heard of them and it sounds to me like a mini Paradise City run by 3 people. Are you thinking of doing it? I have only done shows regularly with 2 organizations, Paradise City and the Marblehead Festival of Arts (www.marbleheadfestival.org) and the last outdoor show I did was a small local outdoor Labor Day art 'thing' and we had hurricane winds and rains. My tent leaks now and I decided to only do Paradise City shows and my newest enlightened thought is to teach more and show less, and thats all I know.
