You're work is lovely! Thanks for the friend request. I am primarily self taught too and it's a lot of fun. Remember to follow your own voice and don't try to paint like any one else.

Hi there!  Thanks for you comment on "New Growth"...I first began to paint in watercolors, and it influences so much of how I apply paint and layers, and I believe the blending technique is part of that as well.  I am happy to know I am not alone in 'forgetting'...my friends say the 'nouns' are the first to go, then entire sentences! 

My oldest daughter just got married, and I've not been able to paint for a while, and I'm getting stir crazy to paint!  I like "Lone Woodpecker' makes me want to run as fast as I can out of the city!
