HELLO,

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE ONLY BEEN PAINTING FOR SUCH A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME!! I HAVE PAINTED IN OILS WHEN I STARTED WITH TOLE PAINTING, BUT WOULD LIKE TO DO A OIL ON CANVAS NOW - THAT WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL SNOWY WINTER. I  WAS INTIMIDATED BY CANVASES, SO THAT IS THE REASON I STARTED TO PAINT ROCKS. MY CREEK RUNS ALONG TWO SIDES OF MY PROPERTY AND THE SUPPLY AND INSPIRATIONS ARE ENDLESS.  ACTUALLY I PAINT ON EVERYTHING - SAWBLADES, MILK CANS, DRIFTWOOD, FURNITURE, FLOWER POTS, WATERING CANS, ANYTHING THAT I THINK WILL SELL. I DO ALOT OF YARD SALE-ING AND BUY FURNITURE AND ITEMS TO PAINT AND RE-SELL. THIS "RETIREMENT" IS BUSY!! YOU MUST ALSO BE A DOG-LOVER - WE ONLY HAVE 17 DOGS HERE AT OUR PLACE.  WE CANNOT TURN THEM AWAY WHEN THEY SHOW UP AT OUR DOOR.

 

HAPPY PAINTING - IT DOES WONDERS FOR THE SOUL.
