Hi, I like your idea on painting, me too I go to my easel for a form of escape.  In fact painting makes me feel that I am living 'Zen" which is a spiritual stage in Buddhist philosophy. the concept of 'Zen' is the concept of the moment. It is the act of being truly present as life happens.  No worrying about the past or fretting about the future but relishing the life we have right now, now matter what it looks like.

Thank you for the lovely comment you left on my very sparce art page.  I just had time the other day to sign up and upload 1 piece to make sure it was the right size.jpg! Come back by next week, if you can, there'll be quite a few more.  And as for you - BRAVO! Your whole page is a fun work of art in itself, and paintings are wonderful. My favorite is Country one (I'm sorry I forgot the name), The water rushing in the center is my favorite, and I really like the story of how you strated..
