Hi Gerebear, Thanks for your comment. The North Woods in winter is incredibly beautiful with some delicate lighting. Although seven feet of snow nearly brought the roof down! Keep up with your painting! It's a journey with no end but many rewarding waysides. - Pieter

Hi Gere,   Thanks for stopping by.   I like your work and especially how you handle water.  I got back into art after a long absence by watching the pbs painters.  And like you, I also use water miceble paints now.   I can't take the sovents anymore.  Keep it up,  your doing great!

Oh gerebear, you are quickly becoming my best scuttlebutt friend! (heehee) Thank you, thank you, for your wonderful comments. I honestly appreciate them!

P.S. How do you like the water mixable oils? I've been wanting to try them for years.

Hi Gerebear,

Funny, but those are my two favorites also, at least for today. I looked at you work and liked it. I see you learning as you go along, as we all do. Try to get closer photos of your pictures, I find myself distracted by the curtains and table. I liked what I could see, but try to frame only the picture. Just a suggestion. Keep on keeping on, Lisabeth

Hi and thank you for your nice comments.  I love living in the East...the history, landscape...even the weather!

I appreciate your comments about Bob Ross.  We all have to start somewhere.  When I was a kid I spent a lot of time watching a PBS painter, William Alexander.  I paint nothing like that but who knows, maybe he planted some seeds.  Keep up the good work.

Andrew
