Hi gerebear! I didn't get to talk to you last week but THANK YOU so much for comments on my "Let Heaven and Nature Sing" one. You are SO gonna laugh, but that painting was supposed to be for our Christmas cards, but I'm terrible at getting too many projects started and then having my spinal cord injury rear it's ugly mug and slowing me down to just a stupid pace! Since I finally finished this painting well past the Christmas season, AND I'm usually late on the Christmas cards every year anyway, I've decided this year to send my entire Christmas mailing - in July! Yes, I'm playing the hell out of the cliche, but I figure, that way the people I don't get a chance to talk to throughout the year know I still love them and my close family will laugh like mad. Then I'll make at least a not-easily-forgotten impression on recent contacts, and scare the hell out of newbies.  Most importantly, I'll laugh my butt of, which is a good thing, my flat Indian butt looks verrry different from Crullabuns!  Thanks again, gere - - OH! I almost forgot - I LOVE "Deadliest Catch!"  How brilliant to put the on the wallpaper of your site. CYa, Sweetie! ...and hey, let me know if you want one of those Christmas cards

You certainly have the eye!  All your paintings have great values which make things like your mountains and canyons look 3D.  I can't believe you've only been painting for a little over a year!  My best advice is to keep taking classes, not only because they are fun, but because there really are a lot of technical skills that you will pick up.  Spoken like a true art teacher haha
